249: Weigh - In
Yes, I had another week hiatus. Why? Because, I'm sick. Again. Jesus Christ, what is with me this year? I haven't been this sick, ever. I don't know what's going on and I don't rightly care for it. It's one cold right after the other. However, I'm at the tale end of this cold so, that's good. I imagine that in a day or two I'll be 100%.
Well, let's get to the weigh-in.
Starting Weight: 350
Previous Weight: 290.2
Current Weight: 286.4
Loss: 3.8
Total Loss: 63.6
I have to tell you, I'm pretty amazed. Granted, I haven't weighed in since the Sunday before Christmas. So, it's been two weeks. However, I literally haven't worked out in a week and I wasn't super strict about my calories this week because I've been sick and I have a hard time being good when I feel so bad. But, it's a loss and I'm going to take it and I'm going to move on from there. Pretty soon, each weigh-in is going to be a new low for me. I'm pretty sure when I graduated high school I was around 275. So, really, my adult weight has always been in these high numbers. I haven't weighed 285 since 2008. I'm pretty pumped for these all new lows. I'm really excited to see what my body looks like as I start to lose this weight. I don't have pictures, really. I just don't know. I'm going to photograph my body more and more in these coming months so that I never forget what I looked like at these weights so that I never come back here again.
Anyway, if you remember (which you probably don't) my goal was to be 287 by January 14th. Well, I kind of surpassed that already so I need new goals. By February 4th, I want to be 278.4. That's with a 2 pound loss every week. In the calendar on my phone, I've gone in a put in my goal weight for the next 4 weigh-ins, when that day comes I'm going to put the actual weight in as well. I got the calendar idea from @needtolose115 and just added my own little twist on it so that it's motivating for me. It's also a way for me to carry around my progress with me so that I know where I'm at all times. I can look back and see where I've been and how much I've tackled without having to rummage through my Xanga or MFP or Jillian Michaels. Yes, I track this on 3 different places--I'm insane.
Here's to healthy choices!

Congrats on your weight loss so far! I recently (well about 8 months ago) dropped 50 pounds and i could not feel better. Few things are more satisfying than reaching that final goal.
Drinking enough water ( no more than 4 glasses per hour, though-- there is such a thing as too much.) would greatly help the immune system stay strong. You want to lose the weight, but one must care about such matters first and foremost so the excess weight stay off, among other things. Good luck!
Good job passing the goal, thats awesome. I hope you start to feel better and stay feeling better. You should be excited about soon having every weigh being a new low, thats awesome. Congrats.
